The Unicity Difference: Research and Development

Quality and safety are the hallmarks of Unicity products, which are manufactured in FDA-approved facilities under stringent good manufacturing practices (GMP), as defined by government regulatory procedures. The team of scientists at Unicity works in partnership with the scientists and technicians at our manufacturing plants to ensure that the products quality is unequivocal. Proof of efficacy of an increasing number of our products is backed by clinical studies, which are published in peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals. If primary research on a product is not yet available, the product is designed based on clinical research on individual ingredients. Where applicable, patented and standardized ingredients are used in the formulating and production processes. We do our best to use only natural ingredients and avoid artificial colorings and flavorings. All finished products are sampled and analyzed to certify compliance to label claims.

Bios Life has had numerous clinical studies conducted at several of the most prestigious hospitals and universities in the US and globally including the Cleveland Clinic, which is recognized at the #1 Heart Institute in the US. We value our international research network, comprised of universities, research institutes, and hospitals, that sets us apart in the nutritional field today, and that provides us access to the latest discoveries in the nutritional sciences.

Bios Life is listed in the PDR (Physician's Desk Reference) and meets the NCEP guidelines for first-line treatment of primary dyslipidemia.  It has also been studied as an adjunct to statins. Unicity continues to dedicate a large portion of the company budget to continued science and research. The most current ongoing study with Bios Life Slim is evaluating patients with metabolic syndrome in a controlled, double blind randomized trial with crossover arm at a prestigious US teaching hospital and university.
